So what is the processor thing in my tablet

| |
Tablets, like computers, need a brain to allow them to function and do the work of processing all the information for all the apps and other functions you are using it for. Coupled with a decent amount of memory and storage, you should see little lag in the speed of your tablet even when using it for many activities.

If you are going to purchase one of the tablets made by the company named after a fruit, then you will not have a choice as to the processor as all of the tablets made by them of that type come with the same processor, the only choice is the memory level and wifi/3g/4g connectivity.

If however, you are looking at a tablet named after a robot then you will see many different types - they will be quoted in a speed and increasingly a number of cores. The more cores a processor has and the higher the speed, the faster it can process data and can keep your tablet moving at speed.

However, a down side of all this speed is that it will draw more power from your battery reducing the amount of time you have if on the move to use your tablet. As with processors, batteries have a rating mah which stands for milli amp hours, your mobile will have a battery with a similar rating. With a higher rating, you get more time and for someone on the move, you might want to get the highest possible, however, with almost all tablets the battery is built in and not accessible so you cant change it after purchase.
